Description

Experience the sunrise at Wiedersberger Horn at 2,127m!    

In the morning twilight, the Wiedersbergerhornbahn will take you to the mountain station. From there, you can walk independently to the summit of Wiedersberger Horn at an altitude of 2,127 meters in about 45 minutes. Once you arrive, you will experience the fascinating natural spectacle of the sunrise with breathtaking panoramic and distant views. Afterwards, treat yourself to a small breakfast on the mountain - for a perfect start to the day!

Tickets and Costs:

• Until the day before for € 19.00
• At the morning box office € 23.00
• Children: free up to 5 years; 6 to 14 years pay € 10.00 (pre-sale and morning box office)
• Season passes and senior rates are not valid for special trips.
• Tickets are available at all tourist offices in the region or online for our guests via My Alpbachtal App

• On-site payment only in cash!
• Parking tickets will only be checked starting from 9:00 AM during normal lift operations

16.07.2026 04:30 – 05:15 AM (sunrise at 05:37 AM) - Departure: 06:15 - 07:00 AM
30.07.2026 04:45 – 05:30 AM (sunrise at 05:54 AM) - Departure: 06:30 - 07:15 AM
13.08.2026 05:00 – 05:45 AM (sunrise at 06:12 AM) - Departure: 06:45 - 07:30 AM
27.08.2026 05:15 – 06:00 AM (sunrise at 06:31 AM) - Departure: 07:00 - 07:45 AM
The cable car will be switched on for the descent approximately half an hour after sunrise for 45 minutes.

• In case of bad weather, the ascent will be canceled! A cancellation will be announced no later than the day before at 12:00 PM
