Description

Real craftsmanship. And real art. In late summer 2025, the Seefeld Handicraft Fair will astound and entertain visitors to the Region Seefeld. On the 2nd weekend in September, craftsmen who uphold old craft traditions will meet in Seefeld and delight visitors there, who will have the chance to look over the shoulders of the "old masters of their craft" as they work. A special and unique festival!

For over 25 years, the Region Seefeld has been inviting visitors to one of the most interesting and authentic traditional events in Tyrol. Every year, numerous craftsmen meet in Seefeld on the 2nd weekend of September to preserve and display their handicraft traditions. In doing so, they inspire visitors from near and far. Genuine folk music, a farmer's market offering regional goods and goods produced at the market, as well as about 800 "Trachtler" give the festival additional local flair and round off the experience.

Over 1,500 participants, including craftsmen, musicians, choirs, traditional costume associations and tractor drivers, put their heart and soul into the festival and give it a very special touch.

Rare professions show their handicrafts in Seefeld's pedestrian zone:
Among them are: basket weavers, carpenters, violin makers, hat makers, (gold) smiths, coopers, potters, fabric printers, goldsmiths, sculptors, knife and cutlery makers, quill embroiderers, glass blowers, engravers - to name just a few of the dozens of professional groups.

The historic tractor parade is a real buzz
Don't miss the tractor parade on Saturday at 1 pm. which is accompanied by the Scharnitz music band. The oldest tractors date back to 1939 and some of them carry historical tools, such as the impressive first cutter bar from the Seefeld plateau. You will also be amazed by rustic rarities such as a stand-motor-driven grain mill, forked hay tedders and potato harvesters.

Folk and brass music as well as specialties from grandmother's kitchen
Not only the handicraft has its firm place on these two days, also the genuine folk music is cultivated in authentic way by nurmerous music groups distributed in the pedestrian precinct. Of course, the numerous delicacies from grandmother's kitchen, which are offered at special stands, must not be missed. Nobody will leave the festival hungry.
