The nature garden in front of the Scharnitz Nature Park Information Center invites you to marvel and discover during the blooming season. Elke Huber will lead a drawing workshop that afternoon, so we can not only admire the beautiful alpine flowers but also draw and paint them under professional guidance. Anyone who has their own pencils, eraser, sketch paper, or watercolor paints is welcome to bring them along. Those who do not yet have drawing materials can purchase them on-site for € 10.00. The Karwendel Nature Park is the largest nature park in Austria and the largest protected area in Tyrol, known for the Great Maple Plain and the Isar spring. The latest expansion now also includes the Arnspitze Nature Reserve around Leutasch. The main focus areas of the nature park include nature conservation, recreation & tourism, environmental education, as well as knowledge & research, but also a colorful program of lectures and excursions at the Nature Park Info Center in Scharnitz is on the agenda!
