The third outstanding inn in the Jochberg triangle, the Gasthof Saukaser Stubn, surprises with combinations such as "Schnitzel with truffle" and raises the Tyrolean inn standard to a refined level. As a small family business, it offers upscale gastronomy in a cosy Tyrolean parlour.

The Bräu Stüberl in Kitzbühel's city centre is anything but etepete and glitzy, but really exciting. It is a place "worth protecting" in a world where often only designer pubs flourish. The "original Kitzbühel" flair is guaranteed here, with regulars' tables and uninhibited guests.

Rosi's Sonnbergstubn above Kitzbühel is a restaurant that Gala and Bunte readers will recognise. The yodelling landlady is an original. This restaurant with its extraordinary atmosphere is a must-see. Despite the crowds, the food is excellent.

The rustic Gasthaus Oberaigen, the ideal contrast, is just a few metres away from Rosi. It serves delicious Tyrolean food at affordable prices and is quiet and unpretentious. We recommend taking the chairlift (Bichlalmlift) as the middle station is only a few steps away from the inn.

The Neuwirt restaurant in the Hotel Schwarzer Adler brings a breath of fresh air to local cuisine. Here, regional, almost forgotten ingredients are combined with international influences. Here, local cuisine is elevated to a new pedestal and skilfully interpreted time and time again.

The Gasthaus beim Schwarzsee is traditional, unfussy and offers fine cuisine. It could hardly be more idyllic. You feel at home in very different parlours - from creatively modern to traditional.
