For years the climbing terrain Fernau nearby the Stubai glacier ski resort was unnoticed. It was more a coincidence that Stubai mountain guides found ideal climbing conditions there. Beside the Fernau via ferrata have been constructed some interesting sport climbing routes up to a length of 4 pitches.

Relatively steep routes in a fantastically handy rock, short distances of the intermediate belays stand in good stead for the beginners' mind.
