Route description

A sporty, fantastic route with a magnificent line that requires stamina and strength. The via ferrata does not require any artificial footholds and, with its seemingly unspectacular slabs, offers a few challenges. The via ferrata runs diagonally upward across the limestone slabs from Tieftal. In the upper section, please take care not to trigger rockfalls on the climbing routes. Its southern exposure, short approach and varied climbing options make the via ferrata in Nassereith particularly attractive.

Equipment:
The via ferrata is equipped without footholds and is well secured. The steep rock slabs are very good for friction climbing.

Difficulty: Entrance to "Marendplatzl" C/D, "Marendplatzl" to highest point B (+ rope bridge)
Equipment: Helmet, climbing harness with via ferrata set, via ferrata gloves, suitable footwear.

Climb length: 100 metres in altitude, 500 metres of climbing.

Descent: Via the designated paths and trails. Descending via the scree slope in the Tieftal valley is not permitted.
