Approach

Walk from the parking lot to the crossroads at the Seelodge Piburg. Then turn right across the parking lot to the forest path and after 200 m you reach the entrance.

Descent

From the exit, follow the steps downhill and along the base of the wall back to the forest path.

Route description

The Piburg practice via ferrata is a small via ferrata located on the western shore of Lake Piburg, right in the village of Piburg. The via ferrata is rated at difficulty level B/C, though most sections are easier. This makes it ideal for people with little via ferrata experience and provides a great introduction to the sport. At Hotel Seerose in Piburg, via ferrata sets, harnesses, and helmets can be rented.

The via ferrata may be used from April to November between 08:00 and 20:00.
