Description:
Tyrolean Trail Quality Seal
For two decades, the Tyrolean state government has been awarding the Tyrolean Trail Quality Seal to trail operators under certain conditions.
The Tannheimer Tal is a "cross-country skiing paradise." This is not only confirmed by the ADAC Ski Guide 2008, which nominated the region as one of the top 10 ski areas in the Nordic/Cross-country category. There was also a special award from the state of Tyrol: the "Trail Quality Seal of the state of Tyrol." It is valid for three years and criteria such as number of trails, grooming, orientation, and marking are regularly checked.
The Tannheimer Tal has optimal cross-country skiing conditions with a 140-kilometer-long trail network and an altitude difference of a maximum of 50 meters. The tracks are suitable for both classic style and skating and offer challenges for cross-country skiers of all skill levels.
Modern and well-maintained equipment (ski, binding, boot, poles, and clothing) not only provides a significant degree of safety but also makes cross-country skiing much easier. Sun protection (high protection factor and possibly sunglasses) as well as enough fluids should not be forgotten.
