Description

This cycle route takes you through all four Kaiserwinkl villages and you can start in any of them. The tour passes all the alpine dairies and there are also MTB connections to the alpine cheese dairies.

Start at the information office in Kössen: 

Direction Staffenbrücke - the Kaiserwinkl Sennerei is located on the right side of the roundabout. Continue via Gundharteing to Walchsee. In the village centre, opposite the information office turn right to Schwemm. MTB connection via Rettenschöss to the alpine cheese dairy Burgeralm (311). Around Miesberg continue to Durchholzen and at the Amberglift turn right to Walchsee. If you follow the main road you will reach the newly built organic cheese dairy Walchsee. Behind the Walchsee the MTB connection to the alpine cheese dairy Feldalm (323) starts. Via Bichlach you continue on to Schwendt, where you will find the Stubenalm with the alpine cheese dairy and in the centre of the village Sebastian Danzl's Sennerei. From Schwendt continue in the direction of Kössen and via the Eurocamp/valley station Unterberg back to the starting point.
