The culinary cycle tour through the Hall-Wattens region takes you 25 kilometers to several farm stores and direct marketers in the region. At the stops, you will find all sorts of things such as handmade cheese, organic honey, fresh vegetables, Tyrolean brandies and hearty bacon - plus insights into local agriculture. We recommend being hungry and taking plenty of bike bags with you!

Tour character

With an elevation gain of 300 meters, the route leads slightly uphill and downhill on well-maintained, asphalted cycle paths and quiet side roads through the villages of the region. In between, there are sections on gravel paths that run through agricultural areas or along fields and meadows.

Highlights of the route include visits to local farm stores and direct marketers, including the Unterkircher organic apiary in Absam and the Lumperer organic farm in Fritzens. Other stops such as the Weberhof farm store in Mils, the Bartlhof butcher's store in Thaur and the Thaur farm store or the Meislhof farm with Tyrolean fine brandies invite you to sample and purchase regional specialties. On selected dates, the cycle tour is also offered as a guided experience, including lunch and accompaniment by cargo bikes for the products purchased.
