The tour leads to Imst and on through the Ötztal to Sölden. Then it goes over Serpetinen up to the Timmelsjoch at 2.509 m altitude.
From Landeck it goes past Imst to Ötztal station and from there through the Ötztal to Sölden. Then begins the demanding serpentine climb of about 23 km with a mean slope of 9% to the Timmelsjoch on the Italian border. The imposing mountains of the Ötztal Alps compensate for the exertions of the ascent. Back you drive over the same route to Landeck.
