Description

Description:
It doesn't always have to be skiing, snowboarding or cross-country skiing. On nearly 81 kilometers of cleared paths, hikers stroll through the snowy fairy tale landscape. Cosy huts invite you to stop along the way. Sitting by the fireplace, warming up with a Jaga tea or strengthening yourself with a snack for the next kilometers – this is how you can fully enjoy snow walks.Directions:

From the parking lot at the ski lifts, head towards the church. Turn right at the music pavilion and follow the road to the Langenschwand district, then continue to the edge of the village. Here the path branches off left to the Alpe Stubental. After a stop, you can return either on foot or with the sled, which can be rented at the hut, back to Langenschwand or Jungholz.

Tip:
Hut host Karl is always up for a joke.Safety guidelines:
Please note that winter hiking also carries an increased risk of accidents and injuries. Especially in winter, pay special attention to the condition of the paths. Suitable clothing, good footwear and possibly hiking poles provide additional safety. Stay on the marked paths.Equipment:
Modern and well-maintained equipment (shoes, poles, and clothing) not only provides a significant level of safety but also makes winter hiking much easier. Don't forget sun protection (high protection factor and possibly sunglasses) as well as enough fluids.Additional information:
