On well-marked hiking paths, we cross national borders to a far-reaching viewpoint and at the same time the summit of Kühgundspitze amidst the Tirol nature. Here, the landscape, culture, and tradition of the surrounding places can be enjoyed.Directions:
Starting from the Jungholz Tourist Information, we head towards the Jungholz ski lifts. After about 300 meters, we turn left onto the forest path towards Hinterer Sorgalpe. Passing by Sorgalpe, we continue towards Unterjoch. Through the middle of the village, past the chapel, we walk uphill towards Krummenbach Kappele to Hintere Wiedhag Alpe. From there, we proceed towards Wiedhag (summit). On the way, we pass the Grenzwieslift and continue along the path to Wiedhag. Then we follow the signposted hiking trail to Kühgundrücken (viewpoint/summit). This forms the last junction before we continue further along the path to our destination, Kühgundspitze.Tip:
