Description

This hike starts at the Ehrenberg Castle World. From the starting point it goes through below the highline179 Suspension bridge, past the valley station of the EhrenbergLiner right into the Klausenwald.

For a few kilometers the path leads through the mystical forest to the idyllic Riedener See. The limestone spring moor is romantically embedded in the forest landscape and offers interesting natural delicacies. Here, around this small forest lake, the hiker will find different bog locations with special and threatened animal species.

Once in Rieden, there are several options: stop at the Gasthof Kreuz, hike the same route through the Klausenwald back to the starting point, bus ride to Reutte or on foot on the route of the great Lech circular hike to Höfen or Ehenbichl.

Follow-up tours:

- Big circular Lech hike
- highline179 hike
- Hike to the Ehrenberg castle ruins
