Description

From the information office Kössen in a westerly direction over the Staffenbrücke, then along the Achendamm, at the Hotel Waidachhof across the street and pass the Brennerwirt. After just a few meters, follow the signs to the Kaiserwinkl Golfanlage, to the Hotel Riedl. Half way there is the possibility to branch off to the left and go back to Kössen via Leitwang (trail no. 12). In front of the Hotel Riedl left, following the street called "Oberbichlach", slightly uphill, it goes past the farms Vorderauk and Hinterauk, Lehenhof, in the district Durchen to the farm Huttenbichl and on to Bauringerhof over to Kranzach. Shortly along the main road, then immediately turn left, past the old saw, then turn right over a narrow bridge the Weissenbach and turn left after the forest and walk towards the lake. Cross the bridge, pass by Gasthof Essbaum to the Seehotel Brunner, then along the lake promenade to the village center of Walchsee.
