Experience the Running and Nordic Walking Arena Tannheimer Tal
Whether breathless beginner or well-trained mountain athlete: In the Tannheimer Tal, everyone who enjoys moving in the fresh air and exploring the surrounding mountains on foot will find their enjoyment. Day by day, all active people, from hobby athletes to professionals, face a great choice: The largest network of trails in Tyrol offers 26 marked routes extending over a total of 186 kilometers. There are beginner loops as well as demanding mountain runs. To ensure that all guests know which path corresponds to their fitness and demands, a specially designed map and small signs provide information about elevation profile, difficulty level, and route length—the running and Nordic walking map.
Along meadows, over green alpine pastures, past sparkling mountain lakes... Walking and running in the Tannheimer Tal is not only the best training for the body but also balm for the soul. The starting points for all those eager to move are located in the six villages of Tannheim, Grän-Haldensee, Nesselwängle-Haller, Zöblen, Schattwald, and Jungholz.
Directions:
Starting from Tannheim Berg (parking lot) towards Lohmoos to the Zugspitzblick, forest path no. 81/82, about 2 hours, and back to Tannheim on the circular hiking trail no. 1, about 3/4 hour, or take the hiking bus back to Tannheim.
Tip:It should be noted that running and walking sports can carry an increased risk of accidents and injuries. Despite careful route planning, a basic risk always remains. Preparation of the route through endurance sports, appropriate technical training and further education as well as personal caution reduce the risk of accidents and dangers.
Equipment:Personal equipment must be safe and functional and meet the respective technical standard. It is recommended that everyone inform themselves about the planned routes in specialist literature or on site. Complete equipment is strongly recommended even for experienced persons!
