Beschreibung

Description:

Here, there is peace; enjoy the great impressions along the route. Pure nature in the Tannheimer Tal.

Directions:

Due to a rockfall (May 2021), the previous path (past the gravel pit) to the Gappenfeldalpe had to be closed for safety reasons! A replacement path to the Gappenfeldalpe was created within a very short time. The junction to the path is directly after the Gappenfeldbach bridge (signposted).
The ascent takes us nicely through the forest. Next to us, the Gappenfelder Bach flows into the valley. We follow the path further to the Gappenfeldalm. Past the alpine pasture, we keep to the right and take the short ascent to the Gappenfeldscharte into account. Upon reaching the notch, we can already see our destination. We descend, walk past the Lachensee, and arrive directly on the sun terrace of the Landsberger Hut. Afterwards, we follow the same path back to the starting point.

Tip:

Among the locals, the following saying applies: "Ma goht´ a kuar offene Hitte vorbei" (One does not pass any open hut without stopping briefly)

Safety guidelines:

It should be noted that mountain sports can entail an increased risk of accidents and injuries. Despite careful tour planning, there is always a basic risk. Preparing for tours through endurance training, appropriate technical training and education, as well as personal caution reduces the risk of accidents and hazards. But please never forget that the weather in the mountains can change very quickly. Stay on the marked hiking trails.

Equipment:

Personal mountain sports equipment must be safe and usable and meet the respective technical standards. Every hiker is advised to inform themselves about the planned routes in alpine specialist literature or on site.
