The groomed connection between Kreithof and the Dolomitenhütte is a popular destination for many ski tourers.
The starting point for our ski tour is the Kreithof 1.050 m, southeast of Tristach, located at the entrance to the Lienz Dolomites. Ascent with own car up to Kreithof (1.050 m, parking fee) possible, then there is a general driving ban due to the natural toboggan run. The mostly prepared connection Kreithof-Dolomitenhütte is especially popular for beginners and night ski tourers. Ascend from the Kreithof parking lot, for which a fee is charged, along the groomed slope. The descent is again via the groomed slope to Kreithof.
