Maierl cableca

The Maierlbahn I (2010) replaces Maierl I+II, relieves the Fleckalmbahn, and offers Kirchberg residents direct access to the Ehrenbachhöhe. Maierl III has been replaced by the Ochsalmbahn.

Description

With the Maierlbahn I, the Kitzbühel Mountain Railways have created a significant relief for the previously used Fleckalmbahn and simultaneously provided a closer access to the ski area for guests in Kirchberg.

The lift, opened in 2010, replaces the two double chairlifts Maierl I and Maierl II. At the same time, the lift Maierl III was replaced by the modern 8-seater Ochsalmbahn.

In combination, the Maierlbahnen and the Ochsalmbahn provide a comfortable connection from Kirchberg up to the Ehrenbachhöhe and significantly ease access to the slopes of the ski area.
