Thrill seekers, meet your match on the Arena Coaster in Zell am Ziller. Just like your favorite roller coaster - but with the refreshing mountain scenery of Zillertal Valley! It’s open in summer, and you can opt to travel alone or in twos.
The adventure begins right above Zell am Ziller, at the base of Rosenalmbahn Gondola. After buckling into the cart, you push forward to release the brakes. The Arena Coaster in Zell is 1,450 meters of pure excitement! A state-of-the-art gravitational hybrid of an alpine slide and a roller coaster, this coaster is built to take full advantage of every peak, dip, vertical drop, and turn the mountain has to offer. The car is fixed to a track, so while you still control your own speed, you can shoot faster through hairpin turns, dips, twists, waves and two spectacular features, one 360-degree circle and one 540-degree circle. Race down the mountain on this elevated roller coaster track that drops more than 140 vertical meters, up to 9 meters above ground, as you enjoy a thrilling journey around and through the forest on the Arena Coaster. Children must be ten years old to ride the coaster alone. For ride alongs, riders must be at least four years old; ride along drivers must be at least 16 years of age. The new adventure playground has plenty of activities available for children of all ages.
