Calling all daredevils! With a top speed of 84km/h at up to 50m above the ground, the Ischgl Skyfly is certainly not for the faint-hearted.
As you whizz through the sky, 50 metres below is the Kitzlochschlucht gorge. The Skyfly in Ischgl is an XXL zipwire measuring 2km in length, descending 300 vertical metres and reaching speeds of up to 84km/h. Visitors who want to race someone else can do so as well, because there are two wires running parallel to each other.
The start area is half-way up the Silvrettabahn A1 cable car at 1,683 metres above sea level. The initial section passes over a gorge, before riders reach the first station. Then it is time to whizz over the Kitzloch-Brücke bridge and the Fimbabahn cable car to the second station. The final section passes over a ski piste and leads down to the finish next to the Pardatschgratbahn A3 cable car. The Ischgl Skyfly will be open in summer and winter.
Prices: One descent on the Ischgl Skyfly costs €35 for adults and €21 for children. Tickets can only be bought from the ticket office at the midway station of the Silvrettabahn cable car. An ascent on the Silvrettabahn cable car costs €8.30 for adults and €4.20 for children.
