For the first time, Hochgurgl in Ötztal Valley will host a men's World Cup event with a slalom in November that will as well mark the start of the new winter season.
Just a few weeks after the opening of the Alpine Ski World Cup season in the neighbouring resort of Sölden, it will be the men's turn to take their shot at Hochgurgl, which hosts its first World Cup event. The Men’s World Cup Slalom will be hosted on Kirchenkarpiste course, which is filled with steep and tight terrain, meaning the racers will need to be at their absolute best to navigate the course. The fans can watch the action live and cheer up their favorites right from the finish area at Top Mountain Crosspoint.
The racing weekend will as well kick-off the 2023-2024 winter season in Gurgl. From November 16 to 19, 2023, the ski resort is packed full of entertainment and special opening offers.
