Event Tour of the Alps

Innsbruck, from 20. Apr 2026 until 24. Apr 2026

The riders have more than 700 kilometers and 14,700 meters of altitude to conquer during the 5-day Tour of the Alps, including tough mountain classifications. The international field of participants promises exciting days of racing. For many racing bike stars, the transnational tour through Tyrol, South Tyrol and Trentino is the last chance to hone their form before the Giro d'Italia and it is hard to imagine the European road cycling calendar without it. With two stage starts in North Tyrol, there will be fantastic impressions of the landscape and plenty of inspiration for amateur cyclists to follow.

We recommend because:

  • five intensive stages at professional level with challenging altitude differences and spectacular Alpine passes are on the program
  • the event is not only an impressive sporting event, but also a cultural highlight of the spring and celebrates the cooperation between the three Euregio capitals of Innsbruck, Trento and Bolzano/Bozen
