This unconventional terrain competition takes place on Saturday, April 21, 2018 and 555 skiers, riders, telemarkers and short carvers from all over the world will grind it out at this massive, annual snow jam in St. Anton. Already considered a cult classic, this competition has developed a reputation as Tirol’s wildest and wittiest ski competition. The "White Rush" pits winter sports buffs against St. Anton’s legendary expert terrain, from the top of 2,645-meter Valluga Ridge to the valley, dropping 1,350 meters in elevation. This event is a must-see for those wishing to witness the effects of a long winter in the scenic Arlberg Region.

Competitors even have good chances to get the highly acclaimed "Arlberg Eagle" Trophy: Profiled as one of the most scenic multi sports events in the European Alps, the "Arlberg Eagle" is set amidst the spectacular landscapes of lofty Arlberg Mountain. The tough series of combined sporting events includes the "White Rush" Ski Event, the Arlberg Jakobi Run Half Marathon on July 21, 2018 and the Arlberg Mountain Bike Marathon on August 18, 2018.

Race start is at 5:00pm. The prizes are awarded two hours later and then the “White Rush Party” kicks in. The race marks the end of winter season at Arlberg Ski Area with ski lifts closing in the afternoon. Brave kids and youth aged 11 to 16 can compete in the “Mini White Rush”.
