Partner hut of the Alpine Clubs
The Naviser Hütte at the end of the Navistal Valley, a side valley branching off the Wipptal Valley to the east, offers wonderful views of the Stubai Alps. The hut can be easily reached from the village of Navis and is therefore popular not only with hikers and mountaineers but also families and daytrippers. Thoroughly renovated in 2012, it is a little different than most mountain huts. Guests staying the night, for example, do not need to bring a sleeping bag. Instead, bed linen and towels are provided in the rooms and dormitories. One of the three double rooms has an en-suite shower. Traditional food is served at the hut. Mobile phone reception is good. There is a charging station for electric bikes.
How to get to the Naviser Hütte
From the py-and-display car park at Schranzberg (1 kilometre from centre of Navis) 1 hour. Alternatively, from Navis via the Weirichalm 2 hours. Hike: Naviser Almrunde
