The base of Giggijochbahn is located at the village entrance to Sölden. Take the scenic gondola ride up to an elevation of 2,200 meters above sea level and pick from a selection of wonderful walks and trails for all abilities at the top. In addition, Sölden is known for its ever-growing mountain bike opportunities, which features gondola access to a variety of maintained downhill mountain biking trails. Many on-mountain huts and restaurants are open and serve authentic Tirol fare to hungry hikers, complete with stunning views of the rugged Ötztal Alps. These are some of the country’s best views, and this is the best way to see them.
