Perched on a plateau at a snowsure altitude of 1,550 metres in the heart of the Ötztal Valley lies the village of Niederthai with its small family-friendly ski resort of the same name. It has three draglifts and one connecting lift givign access to a range of easy and intermediate pistes. There is a ski school offering group lessons and one-on-one tuition as well as a ski kindergarten for toddlers.
