The Florian Chapel in Scharnitz is a small chapel dedicated to Saint Florian, the patron saint of firefighters.
On the occasion of its 100th anniversary, the volunteer fire department of Scharnitz built the Florian Chapel in 1993 in honor of its patron saint, Saint Florian. The chapel was constructed by the firefighters themselves.
