Description

The huge raft covers about 140 m² and is perfectly suitable for groups up to 60 persons. A marvelous, 45-minute Raft Ride on the crystal clear mountain lake is waiting for nature fans, providing not only awesome panoramic views but also heaps of interesting facts on the valley's history from the past to the future. The raft is driven by an electric engine as Pitztaler Gletscherbahn has always focused on environmental sustainability.

Description for wheelchair users:
The raft offers enough space for approx. 60 people and has level access suitable for wheelchair users. The guide of the raft and the staff are very helpful. The raft offers enough space and the wheelchair can be placed next to one of the tables where drinks will be served during the ca. 45 minute ride while enjoying the great panoramic views of the mountains from the lake.

Please note that the Rifflsee is located in the valley basin and therefore the landing stage of the raft can only be reached via a steep, approx.500 metre downhill path. It is recommended to use a Swiss Trac
or other towing device.
