The Garnet Chapel is situated at 2,087 m above sea level on the sunny plateau of the Penkenjoch - right next to the reserovir. The Garnet Chapel is a 10 minute walk, which anyone can easily manage, from the Finkenberger Almbahnen summit station. The Garnet Chapel on Mount Penken is dedicated to the Zillertal Blessed Engelbert Kolland. The services of the famous Swiss architect Mario Botta were secured to realise the plan.
