This pretty lake in the Stubaital Valley is popular with both visitors and locals in summer.
Located near the village of Neustift in the Stubaital Valley, the Kampler See is not officially a swimming lake but is a nevertheless a good place to cool off (albeit at your own risk) on hot days. It is surrounded on all sides by tall trees and lush green meadows with many alpine flowers. There is a nearby playground for children with swings, slides and a climbing wall as well as a small restaurant, the “Seestüberl”, serving drinks and snacks on a sunny terrace.
