The Zillertal has always been characterized by a unique cultural landscape. An important mining cultural monument is the Mitterstall, a former fodder stable. Following the renovation of the listed building, the Mitterstall now houses the Nature Park Exhibition on Brandberg’s Cultural Landscape in Change. The exhibition tells about the difficult conditions of alpine agriculture and allows the locals themselves to have their say.
