This park serves as a dedication to the Kitzbühel skiing legends.
In the 1950s the Kitzbühel wonder team became World famous along with the Hahnenkamm race. Kitzbühel is now dedicating its own park to these Ski legends. A commemorative tablet highlights the successes of Christl Haas, Christian Pravda, Herbert Huber and Toni Sailer. A special monument with a black lightening rod, over 5 metres tall, has been built to the famous Toni Sailer. A roll of honour to all previous Hahnenkamm race winners can also be found in the park.
