Description

The "Milser Au Revitalisation Project" aims to preserve the ecosystem of the grey alder floodplain forest over the long term and to restore the natural habitat, preventing the progression from softwood floodplain to a less ecologically valuable area.

Through this revitalisation project, in combination with near-natural river engineering measures, flood retention areas and valuable habitats for rare animals and plants have been created.
