Description

The "Stoankasern" hut at an altitude of 1,984 m is an attractive destination in a wild and romantic high alpine valley, surrounded by pastures and slopes of alpine roses. The roughly 2 1/2 hours hike from Juns or Tux-Lanersbach is worth the effort. Every morning from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. from the middle of June to the end of September you can see milk been worked into butter and cheese.
