Zillertal: B 169 from Strass/Brettfall tunnel to Mayrhofen - intersection Ginzling/Hintertux
Tuxertal: turn right at the intersection and stay on L 6 Tuxer Landstrasse until Tux-Lanersbach parking lot Tux-Center 401 (HIKING TAXI starting point/base station Eggalm Bahnen).
Bus/Train
from Jenbach with the Zillertal railway to Mayrhofen train station
from Mayrhofen train station with the line bus 4104 to
- Tux-Lanersbach, bus stop Eggalm/Tux-Center (HIKING TAXI starting point/base station Eggalm Bahnen) or
- Tux-Juns/Tuxer Mühle - small parking lot: after the end of the town of Juns next to the Tuxer Landstrasse L6 on the right or
- Tux-Madseit/Heliport Alpin 5 - parking lot on the left side of the Tuxer Landstrasse L6 just after the Tuxer Mühle bus stop
and from there on foot for about 2.5 hours to Stoankasern or by MTB: Käseroute 4020
