High above the valley, about half an hour northeast of the parish church of Hart, the visible Renaissance chapel with its octagonal tower and onion dome was built in 1677 in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The legend states that the Virgin Mary once washed the swaddling clothes for the infant Jesus in the small stream next to the chapel. Therefore, even today the water is attributed with special healing powers, especially for eye ailments.
