Attraction Pilgrimage chapel Jochbergwald

The Jochbergwald pilgrimage chapel is located on the Pass-Thurn road in Jochbergwald in the municipality of Jochberg in the district of Kitzbühel.

Description

In the 19th century, the road over the Pass Thurn had to be re-terraced due to war-related reasons, which pushed the chapel at that time completely to the sidelines. In 1842, a new little church was built next to the old road with the simple, three-bay building and the miraculous image was ceremoniously transferred.
