Attraction Salvesenschlucht

Tarrenz

Salvesenschlucht

Description

The Salvesenschlucht near Tarrenz is an impressive natural monument that has formed over thousands of years due to the erosive power of the Salvesenbach. The nearly five-kilometer-long path winds through open pine forests and offers many highlights. Particularly exciting for families is the Witch's Trail. Here, the little witch Salvesia has hidden 16 riddles that are waiting to be solved. A witch's pass, available at Imst Tourism, accompanies young explorers on their quest for answers. Along the path, there are also sculptures and artworks created by international sculptors since 1996.
Another highlight is the "Hohe Übergang," a narrow bridge that spans the gorge at a height of 40 meters, offering spectacular views.
