 The mountain massif of Spieljoch was already a center of mining hundreds of years ago, where ores, quartz, and even precious metals were extracted. Let yourself be fascinated by the unique history of Tyrolean mining in the excellently preserved mountain tunnel.
The show mine can be reached from the mountain station via the breathtaking Knappensteig with our guide & mine guide (guided tour from the mountain station) in about 40 minutes.
The visit to the show mine is only possible with our certified mining guide, who will tell you everything interesting about 400 years of mining history.
After the tour, your children can participate in crystal digging at the mountain station (50% discount) and take home their own crystal souvenir.
