Wallfahrtskirche Kobenstein
The pilgrimage church "Maria Klobenstein" is situated in the romantic breakthrough of the Grossach, hard on the Tyrolese-Bavarian border. The "geklobenen Steine", which stand next to other mighty boulders below the church, are still today considered a "landmark" of this complex. Already in 1701 one decided to build a "Loreto-Chapel" which was consecrated in 1707 by the Chiemseer prince-bishop.
