The hamlet of Madseit with its wooden chapel is located on the L6 road about 2 km before Hintertux.
The wooden chapel in the hamlet of Madseit between Lanersbach and Hintertux, marked 1851, was moved a few metres from its original location in 1980. The chapel has a simple, rural interior, including the altar with a picture of the Madonna and two saints from 1952, painted by Johann Strasser.
