Event Almabtrieb - bringing down the cattle from the mountain

During the Almabtrieb in Leutasch, the return of the cows from the alpine pasture is celebrated. Traditional folk music frames the festival at the Ganghofermuseum cultural center, and there is also excellent provision for culinary delights. The cows are driven from Gaistalalm through the local districts of Klamm, Plaik, and Platzl to Kirchplatzl
at the Ganghofermuseum cultural center, where they are expected to arrive at around 11:30 a.m. Weather and feed-related delays are possible at short notice!

Description

During the Almabtrieb in Leutasch , the return of the cows from the alpine pasture is celebrated.
With folk music , the festival is framed at the cultural center Ganghofermuseum and there is also an excellent provision for the bodilywell-being .

The cows are driven from Gaistalalm through the districts of Klamm, Plaik, and Platzl to Kirchplatzl along the main road to the field in front of the church where they will arrive around 11:30 a.m.
