The four villages and communities at the foot of the Hohe Salve really celebrate their cattle. Of course, with magnificent colorful decorations, music and stalls, as it should be. On the evening before the day of the cattle drive, there is a big party at the "Tyrolean Evening" in Hopfgarten with Tyrolean music and dancing. On the day of the cattle drive, the elaborately decorated cattle can be seen in three villages - Hopfgarten, Kelchsau and Itter. Strolling through farmers' markets and tasting regional delicacies is also a sociable experience. A week earlier, on September 20, there is a cattle drive in Angerberg, the "Hoamfohra Festl".
