At the Almabtrieb in the Pitztal valley, you have to be careful not to miss the cows because of all the program. With face painting for children, nailing, sawing and milking competitions and a DJ warm-up party the evening before, the festival now takes a whole weekend.
In autumn, not only the trees know how to present themselves in a colorful and magnificent way. Festively decorated, the cows - as a symbol and thanks for an accident-free summer - make their way down into the valley. The animals are accompanied from the Jerzner Hof past the Gasthof Lammwirt to the Jerzner Mühle opposite the fire station. There is musical entertainment opposite the Lammwirt at the parking lot in front of the church and at the fire station. Products made in the region are sold at the market stalls.
