“Rejoice, exult!” – Johann Sebastian Bach's Christmas Oratorio is inextricably linked to the Advent and Christmas season for many people. The Tyrolean ensemble Essenza opens a new access to this masterpiece: In a carefully condensed version, the essence of Bach's music becomes intensely and immediately experienceable – with well-known chorales that invite participation in singing.
