Music connects: The Brigde Beat Festival is a unique "crossover" of indie, jazz, pop, other musical genres, languages, cultures and generations.

Description

Held for the first time in 2024, the Bridge Beat Festival in Innsbruck focuses on music as a bridge builder between people, cultures and cities. For three days, artists from the fields of indie, pop, jazz, world and folk music perform on a stage in Maria-Theresien-Straße from 6 pm. Many of them have their roots in Tyrol.

The supporting program includes a moderated brunch with artists in the pavilion in the Hofgarten, a panel discussion in the Folk Art Museum and after-show events.

The artistic director is Marc Hess, who has been one of the most influential personalities on the Tyrolean music scene for many years. Admission to the festival is free.
