Event Ceremonial Cattle Drive from the Gramai Alm

How would you "celebrate pure life"? At Lake Achensee, you do this with the ceremonial "tufting up" of the cattle on the mountain pasture and a big welcome party in the valley.

Description

The arrival of festively decorated animals at their home in the valley after the alpine summer is duly celebrated every year. Especially when the animals return healthy and accident-free. The cows that spend the summer on the Gramai-Alm are decorated in the morning on the day of the cattle drive and driven down into the valley to Pertisau at midday. Their big welcome party with music is celebrated in front of the Hotel Das Karwendel.

A morning pint with live music and a farmers' market at the Gramai-Alm from 10 a.m. provides a cheerful start to the day, which ends with a hut evening at the Gramai-Alm.
