More than 2,000 athletes and many thousands of spectators are expected at this year's Challenge Kaiserwinkl-Walchsee. It will be held there for the seventh time.
The Challenge Kaiserwinkl-Walchsee is one of the largest triathlon events in Austria: 1.9 kilometers of swimming in Lake Walchsee, 21 kilometers of running and 90 kilometers of cycling - these are the challenges of this half-distance triathlon for everyone. More than 1,800 athletes have recently taken part. The Challenge Aquabike is also taking part again.
The TRIWoman Aquathlon will take place on 27 June: a project organized especially for women to increase the proportion of female participants in triathlons. The distances are chosen so that every woman can take part - it's about fun, not competition. On the same day, the Challenge Junior also sees youngsters at the start. There is also a 5-kilometer Family Run.
