This Friday and Saturday, March 26 and 27, the Easter bunnies with their colored eggs will move into the city park in Kufstein. From 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. the Easter market will spread a spring-like atmosphere while strolling and enjoying the colorful sights and lovingly displayed crafts. Gift ideas for the Easter nest, atmospheric live music, and a varied children’s program will be the focus.
Visitors to the Easter market can expect around 20 market stalls: Tyrolean craftsmanship with Easter wreaths, weaving art, and magnificent Easter decorations will bring the city park to life. The colorful culinary Easter treats will sweeten the market experience. Additionally, there will again be a diverse program for young and old. Besides the festive atmosphere of the market stalls, the family music group Bellinger on Friday and the Tanziger Musikanten on Saturday will provide lively musical entertainment from Tyrol at the Easter market. Easter crafts and spectacular giant soap bubble fun will make the market visit during the Easter weekend an unforgettable experience for the little guests as well.
In addition to the costume association “D'Koasara,” which will enchant the visitors on Easter Saturday, the Goaßlschnoizer Fischbachau are also expected this year. They bring the tradition to life to the rhythm of the accordion. The name “Goassln” comes from the “carriage whip,” the whip used by horse-drawn drivers for communication. The various sequences and rhythms of the whip cracks were used at that time for different purposes. This way, others could recognize whether it was a warning or a greeting. For the organizers of the Easter market – the city of Kufstein and the Kufsteinerland tourism association – it definitely means a “warm welcome sign” to all visitors.
