At the mountain bike and running festival in Angerberg, athletes of all ages compete in various competitions. Program highlights include the mountain bike marathon with various distances, the charity run and the KidsCub for children. Spectators can enjoy live music and delicious street food.
Every year in May, not only professional athletes but also families with children are drawn to Angerberg on the Hohe Salve. The two-day "eldoRADo Bike & Run Festival" on the Hohe Salve offers four mountain bike and running competitions including a supporting program with tasty delicacies and live music.
In the MTB marathon, bikers can choose between three different routes ranging from 35 to 88 kilometers. They overcome up to 2,325 meters of altitude in the longest marathon. Gravel bikers compete in the 40-kilometer race and young mountain bikers pedal on gravel, meadow and asphalt on the cross-country course. Those who want to do something good can take part in the charity run, the proceeds of which go to the Angerberg Social Fund, while children can take part in the children's run.
